First time bringing my vehicle here for service and I will definitely be back! I talked to Ian, he provided fantastic service and was very professional. I was kept updated throughout the day about the progress on my vehicle. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great service
I just had my wife's 2011 Kia Soul repaired at AAMCO Transmissions in Whitby and I feel compelled to write a review that expresses how pleasant the experience was. Ian, Ryan and Joe were very professional in their approach,. They guy's diagnosed the break issue and quickly presented me with a solution. The car was repaired quicker then I expected and working perfectly. I was shocked to receive a call a few days later from Ryan asking me if everything was ok with the repair or were their any issues he should know about. This is a level of customer service that is not common and was greatly appreciated...Thank you to the AAMCO Team!
Joe and his team are the best, always go there for all my vehicles. I recommend going here, never let me down in the last 6 years.

Had my Toyota dropped off for what I expected to be some very pricey transmission work, great shop with some honest techs, turns out it wasn't the transmission at all. Very happy with the service, and with Ian in general. I'll be making them my go-to shop from now on.
This facility installed a brand new transmission in my van. They did a super job.
This shop is awesome. Ryan gave top notch customer service along with Ian. They are really nice and there price is reasonable. They work hard and do an amazing job. I recommend going to them because they will fix your car issue efficiently and you will leave with a smile on your face and a sense of relief knowing they fixed the issue properly.

Great experience at AAMCO Durham! My car needed servicing and I was given options without them being pushy. I was able to wait in a clean and comfortable area with a coffee and Cityline. It's far better than your average service shop, I will definitely return.
I use them all the time for my car repairs. They go above and beyond to make sure that everything is working and the customer leaves happy!

Fast Service and they make sure you leave with the problem fixed right. Did my transmission, clutch and engine work 4 years ago and it's still running strong. Did my snow tires and oil change with 24 hours notice! Great Service!
What a great experience! I came into AAMCO for an inspection and was blown away by the customer service from Mark and Kyle. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. They walked me through my options, explained the pros and cons, and helped me make an informed decision without ever making me feel pressured. It’s such a relief to finally find a mechanic I can trust closer to home. Thanks again for the amazing service!
I was visiting Whitby from Niagara Falls for one night when my car broke down! CAA towed my car to AAMCO but it was the weekend so they were closed. I called late Sunday night expecting to leave a message about my car when, surprisingly, Ian answered! He assured me he would look first thing in the AM and let me know cost/timeline. By 830am the next day he had done that. He had even advised me to call the dealer as this was a known recall for my car. My car was not only fixed a day early but was even cheaper than he had quoted me. Incredible service and would highly highly recommend! (Just as a fun FYI- I spoke to Nissan about a quote Monday at 930am and they have still not called me back with a price— it’s Wednesday at 1pm, my car is already fixed and I’m back in the Falls).
